§ 2-6. Vacancies in office of council member.

Vacancies in the office of council member for whatever cause shall be filled for the unexpired portion of the term by majority vote of the remaining members of the council. If the council shall fail to fill a vacancy in its membership within 90 days of the occurrence of the vacancy, such vacancy shall be filled by appointment of the judge of the circuit court of Loudoun County, Virginia.
